Background

I am an innovative Teacher that believes transferring learning from the classroom directly into practice supports students in having a high completion rate, in both their knowledge and experience to be successful in their chosen industry. I ‘have over 15 years’ experience in the VET and higher education field.   

I currently hold two positions within the organisation, I am the trainer team leader for the North-western section of Australia (WA, QLD and NT) where I am able to extend my strengths of technical knowledge, communication, integrity, attention to detail, critical and assertiveness skills, I am able to provide support, strategies, challenges, growth, skills and knowledge reflecting Navitas curriculum and classroom management styles to the trainers in my region, meeting the expectations for experienced trainers and providing the highest quality professional practice.  

I also deliver the professional year program to the international participants based in our Darwin campus through my experience, knowledge, dedication, motivational leadership skills, strong cultural awareness which I have gained within my unique classroom environment, and a love of travel. Orchestrated development and delivery of learning solutions based on performance gaps, needs assessment, and overall evaluation of positive business impact. The ability to solve problems using creativity, reasoning, and experience together with available resources to achieve high quality outcomes. Seasoned professional, whose honesty and integrity provides effective leadership and optimal business relationships, the ability to control costs and work to budgetary limits and meet tight deadlines allowing them to be well prepared for their internships in their chosen field, to enable the participants to use their full potential to be rewarded with positions within the Australian business work environment.
