ACAP Professional Year (previously called Navitas Professional) delivers the Professional Year Program (PYP) to international Accounting, ICT and Engineering graduates. We are the only education provider in Australia to offer the PYP in all three career disciplines in eight locations: Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. The PYP aims to build industry-specific and employability skills through a combination of coursework and internships.
The popular Professional Year Programs are specially designed for international graduates of Australian universities who are looking to improve their workplace skills and career prospects.

Information about the Professional Year Program
It is a professional development program combining formal learning and an Australian internship placement. We are the only provider able to offer the ACS Professional Year Program in IT (ACS), Engineering Education Australia’s (EEA) Professional Year in Engineering, and the Accounting Professional Year program, nationwide.
The program gives international graduates the skills to gain employment and excel in their chosen field. Successful completion provides eligibility for migration points towards permanent residency.
Below we have included information about the three Professional Year Programs we offer.
Accounting
The Accounting Professional Year Program was developed by CPA Australia, the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA). The program enables international accounting graduates, from Australian universities, to develop the skills and training they need to start their career.
ACAP Professional Year is the only provider approved by the professional accounting bodies to deliver the Accounting Professional Year Program across Australia.
ACS (COMPUTING)
The ACS Professional Year Program in IT was developed by the Australian Computer Society (ACS) to give international information and communications technology (ICT) graduates, from Australian universities, the skills and training they need to start their career.
ACAP Professional Year is the only provider approved by ACS to deliver the ACS Professional Year Program in IT, across Australia.
ENGINEERING
Engineering Education Australia’s (EEA) Professional Year in Engineering was developed to equip international engineering graduates, from Australian universities with the skills and experience they need to start a successful career. The program consists of training and an engineering internship placement to provide a pathway from study to employment in Australia.
