The Darwin Innovation Hub (DIH) has recently welcomed education provider Navitas Professional, adding to its list of international companies bringing Australia’s knowledge and expertise to the world.

Previously based at Charles Darwin University’s (CDU) Casuarina Campus, Navitas Professional delivers critical internship and formal professional development to international graduates through its Professional Year Program. Its relocation to the Smith Street Mall in Darwin’s CBD aligns with efforts by StudyNT and the Northern Territory Government to bring international students into one central location.

“We’ve been fortunate to have been hosted by CDU since 2017 and the support they have given us has been fantastic,” said Navitas Professional’s NT Operations Manager, Robyn Connell. –

“The move to the DIH will allow our students and staff to be closer to their host companies and to access state of the art teaching and learning facilities,” she said.

“Importantly, our proximity to major transport hubs such as the city bus exchange and Cavenagh Street bus stop, as well as easy access to industry associations, will mean that students can connect more easily with key industry players and build their professional networks.”

The National Business Manager of Navitas Professional, Justin Foot, said Navitas Professional had delivered exceptional learning experiences and outcomes for international students in the Northern Territory for more than a decade.

“Our Professional Year Program has enjoyed fantastic success, with 80 percent of our graduates gaining employment within six months of completing their course.”

Navitas Professional will officially open its new facilities at Darwin Innovation Hub on Thursday 1 October. A joint venture between Paspalis, Charles Darwin University, NT Government, and AusIndustry, the DIH has become the Northern Territory’s beacon of partnership and collaboration to the Asia Pacific region.
